This full day tour for couples, friends and small parties will cover the biggest wine region in South Africa known as the "Cape Winelands" 45 minutes drive outside the city of Cape Town.. Not only will you experience some of the best wines we have - you will sample about 16 different wines - but you will also experience spectacular mountain drives with awesome viewpoints along the way. Beautiful original architectural styles of Cape Dutch, Victorian and Georgian are some of the things to be seen in the picturesque valleys.. The regions of Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Paarl will be visited before drop off at 17h00.


Pick up at your Cruise Liner at 09h30 and we drive to Stellenbosch, the biggest of all the wine regions in South Africa (300+ Wine Estates) In the town of Stellenbosch - also known as the "town of the oaks" or the "University Town.' we conduct a city and Campus drive.The most beautiful original Cape Dutch or Victorian buidings will be observed on this drive.Time permitting we may also stop in the town for a quick walk-around. We stop for the first tasting at one of the most beautiful vineyards to sample 5 or 6 of their wines.

The road now takes us to Franschhoek and on our way we sample another 5 wines at the second vineyard. We may even do a stunning Mountain Pass en route and sample at a vineyard on top of the mountain.After exploring the beautiful region and the town of Franschhoek, we stop for lunch on one of the wine estates. A beautiful view supplements the excellent food of the restaurant.(Lunch for own account).
 
After lunch we drive to the Paarl region. Along the way we stop at the prison gate to take pictures of the Mandela Monument. Nelson Mandela was released from this prison in February 1990. Paarl Main Street drive follows on our way to the last vineyard. The Main Street boasts with excellent examples of Cape Dutch, Victorian and Georgian architecture.This tasting will be a "Master Tasting" - it could be wine and cheese pairing or even biltong and wine pairing. Time permitting we stop at the last vineyard and then complete the circular tour to the city of Cape Town and our point of departure to arrive there around 17h00..

This Private, Small-Group 8 - hour Estate Wine Safai and Motor Museum Tour takes you to an award-winning wine estate in the Stellenbosch region, as well as to the biggest Motor Museum in the Southern Hemisphere outside the town of Franschhoek. A Land Rover fitted with bucket seats will take you around the estate situated on the slopes of the Helderberg Mountains.

The history of Wine Making in South Africa will unfold as your specialist wine guide will share his knowledge with you.While in the vineyards, you sample at two bomas, first a white wine stop and thereafter for red wine. After the 1-2 hour safari you return to the main tasting room for wine and chocolate pairing.

After  lunch stop in one of the other vineyards(own account) the Motor Museum is next. Here some 82 golden oldies( from a collection of 380) will await you, dating from 1901. After spending enough time for pictures, a scenic drive back to Cape Town follows for arrival at around 17h00.

Pickup at your Cruise Liner at 9h30 and drive to Stellenbosch, the biggest wine region of the Cape Wine-ands. Stop at Waterford Estate and walk to a beautiful Tuscanny-style tasting room for a warm welcome. Here a Land rover with bucket seats awaits you with a specialist Waterford guide to take you on an unforgettable wine safari. On route you will be introduced to the wines of the different vineyards. At certain  points you will stop and the guide will share with you the 350-year history of South African wine-making, while looking at Table Mountain and Constantia where it all started in 1652. Wines you will taste on route will be Waterford Estate Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Kevin Arnold Shiraz and the top of the range wine: The Jem.

Note for the Safari you may be joined by a few more people, but for the rest of the day you will be the only clients in one vehicle.

After this beautiful tour in the vineyards, you return to the tasting room for a special wine and chocolate pairing encounter to conclude the wine safari. The pairing is beautifully presented on a specially designed tasting board featuring the three tasting glasses and their matching three chocolate tablet. Guests are guided through the tasting with a description of the flavors of each combination that they will encounter in both the wine and from the chocolate.

Stellenbosch city and university drive follows and thereafter a spectacular mountain drive to Franschhoek. Lunch (not included in price) will be on one of the many beautiful estates offering awesome views over the valley. You now board a specially built tram for a mountain, and estate drive taking you to the Franschhoek Motor Museum. Here you will see the remarkable immaculate collection of 80 automobiles (they have more than 300 on the estate) spanning more that 100 years. Return to Cape Town for drop-off at around 5pm.

This 8 hour private tour for couples, friends or small groups travelling together is on Africa`s premier tour routes along the beautiful Atlantic Coastline. It takes you to the mythical meeting place of the two oceans at Cape Point and Cape of Good Hope. Weather permitting you will do the spectacular Chapman's Peak Drive after allowing time at Hout Bay Harbor to take a boat to "Seal Island" (optional).

The tour includes a visit to Boulders Beach,the breeding place of the African Penguins. Your scenic return via Boy's Drive or Old Cape Road will allow you to have a birds-eye view of the city from the top of the mountain.

Pick up at 09h00..The tour takes you to Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point along the Atlantic, one of South Africa’s most beautiful coastlines.With the view of Robben Island in the distance you drive along the coastline to Three Anker Bay, Sea Point and Clifton and we make our first scenic stop at Maidon's Cove from where we have a fantastic view of Table Mountain and the prestine beach of Camps Bay down below.

The tour carries on to Chapman's Bay and the harbor of Hout Bay for craft market shopping or an optional ferry-ride to Seal Island. The ferry-ride gives a close-up view of 100's of Cape Fur Seals on the rocks. The tour continues along Chapman's Peak Drive, one of South Africa's most spectacular scenic drives.
 
The alternate route is via the Constantia Forest with a stop on top of Boye`s Drive with stunning views of the holiday village of Muizenberg down below. The sight of the pristine beaches is something never to forget. This panoramic tour continues along the False Bay coast to the lovely town of Simonstown where you visit the rare African Penguins at Boulders Beach.

Cape of Good Hope is the next stop. A 45minute scenic walk from Cape of Good Hope to Cape Point can be done, time permitting. There is also the possibility to take the funicular to the lighthouses(own expense). The return journey takes you to Scarborough with mind blowing waves at "Misty Cliffs", a haven for the kite surfer.

This is not all, the "Old Cape Road" takes you to a viewpoint where you have an outstanding view over Cape Town City. The drive back to the hotel is via the University of Cape Town and Grootte Schuur hospital. The latter known as the hospital where the first heart transplant was done in 1967 by Christiaan Barnard. Drop off back in Cape Town at approximately 5pm to 5:30pm. Note this tour can also be done in the reverse order, all depending on requests by clients or weather conditions. We may even fit in optional tours to Groot Constatia Wine Estate or Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.
