This full day tour for couples, friends and small parties will cover the biggest wine region in South Africa known as the "Cape Winelands" 45 minutes drive outside the city of Cape Town.. Not only will you experience some of the best wines we have - you will sample about 16 different wines - but you will also experience spectacular mountain drives with awesome viewpoints along the way. Beautiful original architectural styles of Cape Dutch, Victorian and Georgian are some of the things to be seen in the picturesque valleys.. The regions of Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Paarl will be visited before drop off at 17h00.


Pick up at your Cruise Liner at 08h30 and we drive to Stellenbosch for a city- and university drive before we stop for the first tasting. The first 5 wines will be tasted at one of the oldest vineyards in South Africa and also at the place where the first pinotage was bottled. Pinotage is a South African Vine, developed after cross pollination of Pinot Noir and Hermitage grapes.

We carry on with our tour in the direction of Franschhoek, known as the gourmet capital of South Africa. We stop in the mountains where spectacular views can be captured but we also sample the next 5 or 6 wines of a world renown vineyard. Lunch stop (own account) will be on a wine estate where you will have awesome views of the valley below.

After lunch we drive to the Paarl region but we stop on the way to take pictures of the prison gate and the statue of Nelson Mandela (if you wish).A Main Street architectural drive in Paarl follows and the next tasting will be a choice of chocolate and wine pairing or cheese and wine pairing. We continue our circular tour as we drive back to Cape Town Port for drop off at 17h00.

This private full day excursion is an ideal tour for couples, friends or small parties travelling together. It takes you to an award winning wine estate in the Stellenbosch region.

The Wine Safari takes you into the vineyards on a 4x4 vehicle where guides will share with you all about wine. Needless to say, tastings follow. The tour concludes with Wine and Chocolate Pairing.

After a lunch stop, own expense, the road takes you to Franschhoek for a town tour and a visit to the biggest motor museum in the Western Cape. The fleet consists of more than 350 golden oldies dating from 1901. About 80 golden oldies are displayed at a time for you to capture on your camera.

Scenic drive back to Cape Town follows to arrive in the city at around 5:00pm.

Pickup at 9am and drive to Stellenbosch, the biggest wine region of the cape wine-lands. Stop at Waterford Estate and walk to a beautiful Tuscanny-style tasting room for a warm welcome. Here a Land rover with bucket seats awaits you with a specialist Waterford guide to take you on an unforgettable wine safari. On route you will be introduced to the wines of the different vineyards. At certain vintage points you will stop and the guide will share with you the 350-year history of South African wine-making, while looking at Table Mountain and Constantia where it all started in 1652. Wines you will taste on route will be Waterford Estate Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Kevin Arnold Shiraz and the top of the range wine: The Jem.

Note for the Safari you may be joined by a few more people, but for the rest of the day you will be the only clients in one vehicle.

After this beautiful tour in the vineyards, you return to the tasting room for a special wine and chocolate pairing encounter to conclude the wine safari. The pairing is beautifully presented on a specially designed tasting board featuring the three tasting glasses and their matching three chocolate tablet. Guests are guided through the tasting with a description of the flavors of each combination that they will encounter in both the wine and from the chocolate.

Stellenbosch city and university drive follows and thereafter a spectacular mountain drive to Franschhoek. Lunch (not included in price) will be booked on one of the many beautiful estates offering awesome views over the valley. Now board a specially built tram for a mountain, and estate drive taking you to the Franschhoek Motor Museum. Here you will see the remarkable immaculate collection of 80 automobiles (they have more than 300 on the estate) spanning more that 100 years. Return to Cape Town for drop-off at 5pm.

This 8 hour private tour for couples, friends or small groups travelling together is on Africa`s premier tour routes along the beautiful Atlantic Coastline. It takes you to the mythical meeting place of the two oceans at Cape Point and Cape of Good Hope. Weather permitting you will do the spectacular Chapman's Peak Drive after allowing time at Hout Bay Harbor to take a boat to "Seal Island" (optional).

The tour includes a visit to Boulders Beach,the breeding place of the African Penguins. Your scenic return via Boy's Drive or Old Cape Road will allow you to have a birds-eye view of the city from the top of the mountain.

Pick up at 09h30..Your tour takes you to the Cape of Good Hope along one of South Africa’s most beautiful coastlines. Your journey carries on through Sea Point to Hout Bay with an optional ferry-ride to Seal Island (100`s of Cape Fur Seals).

Weather permitting, the tour continues via Chapman"s Peak Drive. The alternate route is via the Constantia Forest with a stop on top of Boye`s Drive with stunning views of the holiday village of Muizenberg down below. The sight of the pristine beaches is something never to forget. This panoramic tour continues along the False Bay coast to the lovely town of Simonstown where you visit the rare African Penguins at Boulders Beach. Other optional visits could be Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens (own expense) or Groot Constantia Manor House (own expense).

Cape of Good Hope is the next stop. A 45minute scenic walk from Cape of Good Hope to Cape Point can be done, time permitting. There is also the possibility to take the funicular to the lighthouses(own expense). The return journey takes you to Scarborough with mind blowing waves at "Misty Cliffs", a haven for the kite surfer. This is not all, the "Old Cape Road" takes you to a viewpoint where you have an outstanding view over Cape Town City. The drive back to the hotel is via the University of Cape Town and Grootte Schuur hospital. The latter known as the hospital where the first heart transplant was done in 1967 by Christiaan Barnard. Drop off back in Cape Town at approximately 5pm to 5:30pm.
