This panoramic tour of Mpumalanga brings you up close and personal to South Africa’s stunning natural beauty. With your expert guide, travel along the breathtaking Blyde River Canyon – the third-largest canyon of its kind in the world – to visit a variety of iconic sights including God’s Window, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, and the Three Rondavels. You’ll be treated to jaw-dropping views of dramatic landscapes filled with mountains, sheer cliffs, stunning rock formations and cascading waterfalls. You’ll travel by comfortable vehicle, stopping along the way to walk around and take photos.

You’ll be picked up from your central Hazyview hotel in the morning for an all-day tour of the province's most beautiful natural attractions. This South African province of Mpumalanga means ‘the place where the sun rises’ in the local language -- a name as poetic as the scenery.

Traveling by air-conditioned vehicle, spend 7.5 hours discovering the beauty of this less-developed South African province. Your guide will take you along the spectacular Blyde River Canyon, one of the most scenic routes in the region and the third-largest canyon of its kind in the world.

Visit the Bourke’s Luck Potholes, a set of natural rock formations featuring countless swirling pools of water caused by the Treur River plunging into the Blyde River. As you'll learn from your guide, these potholes were named after a gold digger, Tom Burke, who staked a claim nearby.

Next, make your way along the Drakensberg escarpment to God’s Window. You’ll immediately understand where this attraction gets its name as you stand on the lookout point, soaking up breathtaking panoramic views of the canyons, rock formations and lush forest-clad ravine filled with waterfalls. This majestic cliff plunges more than 2 290 feet (700 meters) into the Lowveld!

Around midday you’ll make a stop for lunch at Graskop or Pilgrim’s Rest, a small town and provincial heritage site. Your tour continues with a visit to the Three Rondavels, three round, impressive mountains with slightly pointed tops. Pause at the lookout point here to learn about the significance of this iconic sight and to savor the incredible views. Afterwards, hop back into the vehicle and relax on the drive back to your hotel.

We visit Kruger National Park on this full day tour. We pick you up early in the morning (around 5.30 AM) and take you back to your hotel or lodge in the evening (around 5 PM). We use our fully licensed Open Safari Vehicle and drive on the roads of the national park where our experienced and registered nature guide reads the signs of nature to find the best animal sightings of the day. The guide gives you an explanation about the animals that you are seeing, what they are eating, how they behave in their natural environment and how they interact with other animals. You will leave the park with a better understanding of how this fascinating and unique environment works and you will want to come back soon.

We pick you up early in the morning (around 5.30 AM) with our Open Safari Vehicle. In the morning it can be quite chilly so we recommend you to bring some warm clothes. It’s good to start early as many animals are still active. We drive to the park entrance which is about 45 minutes drive from Hoedspruit. We stop at the shop where you can buy snacks and coffee before we enter the park. We spend around 3 hours looking for animal sightings, which are different every day as animals roam freely in the park. We usually have breakfast at around 10 AM at one of the rest camps, where there is a restaurant and a small but well-stocked shop. We then continue our game drive until later in the day, we then again usually have lunch at the rest camp at around 13.00 and continue our drive in the afternoon. There is no fixed itinerary because the animals move around all the time and our guide communicates with all other guides in the area to understand where the animals are. In the late afternoon we take you back to your Guest House at around 5 PM. Food and beverages are not included in the price.
